Brief Overview on DR Congo

The Democratic Republic of Congo is a the second biggest country in the heart of Africa with the area of 2,345,410 km2. Since the new constitution was approved  in 2005 Congo has achieved a tremendous economic recovery in recent years. As part of the new government's economy policy, the  country has a new investment code aimed at promoting business development  and investment security. The investment code  establishes an equality of treatment  between domestic and foreign investors as well as simplifies approval procedures, and grants tax parafiscal and customs benefit.
